Ayur herbal moisturizer review

Hello beauties!!
Am back with a review from a quite popular brand AYUR. I have used their face packs and astringent. Now am going to review their herbal moisturizer.
When I went to store in search of a body lotion this cute pink colored handy bottle caught my attention. Though the packaging is not trendy, I was attracted to the moisturizer. without second thought I rushed to the billing section.
PRICE: 50 INR for 100ml(affordable)

INGREDIENTS: aqua, paraffin, emulsifying wax, rose extract, cucumber extract, aloe vera extract, turmeric extract, honey, wheat germ oil, sunflower oil, isopropyl myristate, silicon oil, propylene glycol, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, EDTA, imidazolidinyl urea, fragrance.
CLAIMS BY AYUR
⦁    Contains wheat germ oil, olive, turmeric and rose extracts.
⦁    Helps retain moisture content to give a soft and supple skin.
⦁    Enriched with vitamins A, D and E.
⦁    Makes a perfect makeup base.
SHELF LIFE: 3 years
MY VIEWS:
My body skin is dry so the review is based on that. The herbal moisturizer comes in handy bottle with flip flop cap. The bottle is sturdy thus it is travel friendly. I am using this moisturizer for 1month twice a day. It has a very pleasant aroma of rose. The moisturizer is of pale pink in color. The texture of moisturizer is runny. when applied on hands and legs it is absorbed quickly. It doesn’t make the skin greasy at all. It instantly provides moisture to my body. It provides moisture to my body skin for at least 6hrs which is great at this price tag. But the moisturizer is not water proof. when we wash our hand the moisturizer is also washed away easily. It is an average moisturizer with herbal tag. Though the company claims that it acts as perfect makeup base, I don’t use it on my face since it has wheat germ oil that may result in breakouts.
PROS
⦁    Retains moisture for good 6 hours.
⦁    Pleasing aroma.
⦁    Doesn’t make skin greasy.
⦁    Absorbs quickly.
⦁    Economical.
⦁    Travel friendly packaging.
⦁    Has herbal extracts
CONS
⦁    Has urea, paraben, silicon oil.
⦁    Absence of SPF
⦁    Doesn’t act on tan.
FINAL VERDICT: you can give it a try if you want a decent affordable moisturizer to retain moisture. If you expect tan removal or extra nourishment you should give it a miss!!
RATING: 3.75/5
